Jainism - the only atheist religion of the world.

Dictionary meaning of a religion may be, "A strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny". If that is the definition or correct meaning, I must say, then in the list of Indian religions one should not include "Jain".

Generally all relgions are based on the belief that God exists but Jainism is a religion which is the only Atheist religion - What a contradiction! In no relgion of the world, you find atheism but Jainism is a kind of atheism and still is a religion!!!

Whom do jains worship? This question is being asked by those who find that jains are the atheist people of the world. Jains do worship Tirthankara. But, there is one presumption and that this universe was never created and was there, is there and will be there. If there is a creator, than there must be a creator of creator too! And that is why jains do accept that there is no creator of this world.

Jainism is again a relgion that vouchs that any common man can attain Moksha or liberation.

Read on teachings of jainism. You will find that it is the only religion which has understood the facts of this universe and all living and non-living scientifically. The preachings and practices of jainism are rather more scientific and following them may give a quality life.
